Chew in bites of exactly 50 or exactly 20. Choose your own bite size and stick with it over time. Don't chew by adding non-carbs. Learn what a small bite is exactly. Probably, this exactness is another thing to occupy your mind with and to keep you focused on chewing.
Saliva digests carbs not stomach acids. So if you don't chew carbs to a liquid the leave a toxic residue.
Mark down each correct bite size on paper as you chew. Gradually you will increase your accuracy.

I am going to do this. I am only detoxing not losing weight so this method is important to me. I don't need toxic undigested carbs in my gut.
It is a very effective method practiced in Japan. For weight loss, this method was publicized on Japanese TV. I will let you know my results.
